Today's decorative gold plating proccesses are applied
to a very diverse range of consumer products. Typically,
plated items include watch cases and bands, plumbing fixtures,
writing instruments, jewellery, eyeglass frames, cigarette
lighters, fashion accessories and light fixtures.
Gold Salt's other main role is in semiconductor devices,
where fine gold wire or strips are used to connect parts
such as transistors and integrated circuits and in printed
circuit boards to link components.
